It has been a very busy summer here at Gorey Property Lettings.
The market has dramatically changed. There is a scarcity of property in Gorey town for the past number of months and this has left tenants in a difficult position. With the increase in rents in the Dublin market we are noticing sudden demand coming from Wicklow areas such as Greystones. Three beds in Gorey had sometimes struggled to achieve €650, these have now jumped to €700. Country properties are also being snapped up and there isn’t even an overflow of property in Courtown and Riverchapel. It will be interesting to see what the winter months will bring in terms of rent.
It certainly seems to be a good time to invest or perhaps that ship sailed in 2012-13.
